What we do
Gardens get away from all of us. A busy year, an illness, a property between tenants or a house that has stood empty can leave brambles, long grass and rubbish everywhere. We clear the lot and leave the garden ready to use, sell or let.
We also deal with the hard jobs: digging out bamboo and its roots, removing old sheds, breaking up old slabs and clearing rubble left by builders. Everything we remove goes with us.

Before we start
If someone takes waste away from your home, you are expected to check that they are a registered waste carrier. You can check a business on the Environment Agency's public register. Waste that is fly-tipped can be traced back to the householder.
Bamboo and other running plants spread by underground roots. Cutting the canes is not enough: the roots have to be dug out, or it will come back.
Before we cut back an overgrown hedge or shrub between March and August, we check for nesting birds.
If you are selling or letting, a clear, tidy garden makes a better first impression in photos and at viewings.

Great price I have attached before and after photograps of the area where the bamboo had overgrown and needed to be removed. The roots were very deep and had spread across a wide area. Kazik, the gardner did a fantastic job digging up the roots, getting rid of the bamboo shoots, removing all the rubbish and clearing up the area. He broke up all the lumps of clay soil and raked the entire area, which I did not expect as part of the service. It was a backbreaking job, the hot weather making it more difficult. He never complained, always cheerful and polite, hardly stopping to rest, which concerned me. Had a major building work done. The old garden was trashed by builders who replaced the compacted old soil with a new lot. This had soon become weedy. AK Gardening Specialist cleared the weeds, dug up the slabs of an old shade, and rotavated the soil. Levelled the top soil and prepared to fine tilth. Topped with compost and laid new turf. All work was done to perfection and efficiently. Karlo and his assistant were clearly experienced. Reasonable price and responsive to queries. Gave good advice. I am very happy with their work, which they followed from my rough sketch. Pleasure to deal with such professionals who were polite and cleared after work. Would certainly recommend them and use them in future.

Do you take all the waste away?
Yes. Green waste, rubbish and old materials all go with us. We do not leave bags behind for you.
Can you clear a garden before I sell or let the house?
Yes. We often clear gardens for landlords and families before a sale or new tenancy. We can also keep it tidy until the property is let or sold.
Can you get rid of bamboo?
Yes. We dig out the roots as well as the canes, so it is much less likely to come back.
Can you take down an old shed?
Yes. We take it down and take all the timber and rubbish away.
Can you clear a garden after building work?
Yes. We clear rubble and weeds, break up compacted soil and can lay new turf afterwards.
