What we do
Many clients come to us with a rough sketch or a few photos they like. Karol walks the garden with you, talks through what will work on your soil, light and levels, and helps turn the idea into a plan.
We then build it: levels and drainage, patios and steps, lawns, fencing, decking, raised beds and planting. Because one team does the whole job, you have one person to speak to and nothing falls between trades. When it is finished, we can look after it for you.

Before we start
Groundwork and drainage are the parts you do not see, and they matter most. On London clay, water needs somewhere to go, or a new lawn or patio will suffer in a wet winter.
Spring and summer are the busiest months for building work. If you want a garden ready for the summer, it helps to talk to us early in the year. Autumn is a good time for planting and laying turf.
Most garden work does not need planning permission, but raised decks, high fences, large front garden paving and work near protected trees can. We will tell you if something needs checking.
Plants chosen for your soil and light do better and need less looking after. A north-facing garden on clay needs different plants from a sunny, sandy one.

Do you draw up a design?
We plan the garden with you on site, starting from your ideas, a sketch or photos you like. We agree the layout and materials before any work starts.
How long does a garden makeover take?
It depends on the size and the work. A small garden can take a few days. A larger job with paving, fencing and a new lawn can take a few weeks. We give you an idea of timing with the quote.
Do I have to deal with different trades?
No. Our team does the groundwork, paving, fencing, decking, turf and planting. You speak to Karol throughout.
Can you work with a sloping garden?
Yes. We build steps, terraces and retaining edges so a sloping garden is easier to use.
Will you look after the garden afterwards?
Yes, if you would like us to. Many clients keep us on for regular care once the work is finished.
